Physiotherapists are primary health care professionals with an advanced knowledge of anatomy and body function. We have been trained to use physical "hands-on" tests and interventions in order to properly assess, diagnose, and treat acute or chronic injury, disease, or disability. After a thorough history of your present condition, your physiotherapist will check body function by means of range of motion, strength, stability, proprioception as well as other musculoskeletal tests.

Once the physiotherapist has diagnosed your entrance complaint, she will outline the treatment for your best possible outcome. Your treatment may include the application of myofascial release techniques, joint mobilization or manipulation, the use of electromodalities (such as ultrasound), exercise prescription or education concerning posture and work habits.
